Professional Portrait & Nature Photographer - James Netz
My passion of photography ignited when I built a box camera from an old shoebox way back in elementary school. Since then, photography has been an extension of my creativity and the palette for my work. I derived my appreciation of the natural world's grandeur while growing up in northern Wisconsin and the UP of Michigan. I continue to visit these pristine areas time and again along with new locations, capturing them in just the right light or from a slightly different angle. I received my formal education from Northland College in Ashland, WI, located on the shores of my beloved Lake Superior which continues to be the hub of my photography. Currently, I balance my life and work between our Cable, WI home, nestled in the Chequamegon National Forest, and our home in the Twin Cities. I am continuously inspired by photography since subject matter, technology, and techniques are ever changing, keeping me living on the edge by taking on the impossible and turning it into a successful shot.
The foundation of my photography centers on capturing the personality of my subject regardless if it's an old barn, a bride and groom on their wedding day, nature, a newborn portrait, or a sunrise on Lake Superior. They all possess a personality and are unique. I am tenacious in capturing those personalities and conveying them to all of my customers along with providing exceptional photography and videography services.
The best thing I can suggest for you and your family is to hire a true professional photographer like myself, to capture the precious moments in your life. Yielding images that will become keepsakes to cherish forever.

Lenora Ludzack - Photographer/Gallery Manager
Hi my name is Lenora Ludzack. As a child I grew up in the southern part of Wisconsin. We traveled to Northern Wi when I was young as my family had property up north here by Barnes, Wi. I loved it here in the northwoods so much that after high school I made Cable Wi. my home. I have one son and two grandchildren. I went to college for restaurant and business management and worked at Telemark in the coffee shop. Then I worked for the Postal System in Cable WI. as a mail carrier for 23 years. Within that time I loved to take pictures.
I met James Netz before he started his business. At that point he opened James Netz Photography and he had offered a photography class which my friend and I attended. That boosted my interest in learning photography. Eventually I started shooting more with Jim. Over the years here he has taught me a great deal about photography . This inspired my passion to lead me to do this more full time. So I started helping with weddings, and some events and filling in at the shop. Which then lead me to managing his shop full time. I love my new career change and I am really enjoying what I do. Every day is something new, and I love meeting and working with the clientele that comes through the door. Each client is unique and I look forward to greeting and helping each customer that each day brings.
Casey Petersen - Videographer/Editor
Casey grew up in Willmar, Minnesota, where his passion for video production was sparked at a young age. Inspired by his father’s love of photography and his work as a graphic designer for Lowell Lundstrom Ministries, Casey found himself captivated by the ministry’s fully equipped television studio, which was used for weekly broadcasts. At just 11 years old, he was mesmerized by the world of video production.
To nurture his budding interest, Casey’s family made the significant investment of purchasing a camcorder. He eagerly began filming concerts, basketball and football games, and spent countless hours editing highlight videos. Using only a camcorder and a VCR, he created creative introductions with rudimentary graphics, honing his skills through hands-on practice.
Casey later attended the University of Northwestern – St. Paul, where he earned a degree in Broadcasting. In 1997, he began his professional journey, where he filmed weddings, concerts, events, sports, and corporate productions. Over the years, Casey discovered that editing video was his favorite part of the production process, allowing him to bring his creative visions to life.
